Range of Scar Treatments

Scars come in all varieties. From acne scars to surgical scars, hypertrophic scars, burn scars, chicken pox scars to even stretch marks. Treatments are chosen based on the colour, age, location and characteristics of the scars.

Scars can be treated with creams, deep chemical peels (50% CROSS Tricholoroacetic acid peel), subcision (using a needle to break the tough fibrotic tissue under a scar), steroid injections, dermarollers, microneedling pens, Fractional resurfacing lasers (this includes fractional Erbium:
YAG laser, fractional Carbon dioxide laser, Pico Pixel laser and Microneedling Radiofrequency), PRP skin rejuvenation (also known as the ‘Vampire Facial’) and/or dermal filler injections. Skin.Health offers all of the above treatment modalities.

100% elimination of the scar may not always be possible, and multiple treatment modalities may be required to achieve the best results. Do check ‘Patient Information Leaflet – Cosmetic’ for further information.
